The National Conference of Commissioners of Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL) will be meeting in July to discuss proposed changes to the UCC Revised Article 9. Items to be discussed include:
- Clarifying the methods for determining the correct name of a registered organization;
- Providing alternatives for determining the correct individual name of a debtor;
- Amendments to the definition of a registered organization;
- Changes to the UCC Forms;
- Various other issues relating to filing and searching UCC records.
As an active participant in NCCUSL and the International Association of Commercial Administrators (IACA), we are plugged into any and all changes and will be providing ongoing updates via this industry forum. Check back often for more.
